The machine tool industry growth this year expected to exceed 10% of

Into the third quarter, the machine tool industry has shown all the signs of recovery. Overall, for the fourth quarter of this year, the industry is optimistic about the operation of the enterprise more, because of China’s automobile, engineering machinery, railway, wind power development of new energy industries machine tool market has created a strong demand environment. However, we look forward to most is not numerical growth, but would like to see industrial layout is reasonable, rational and prosperous market developments.

Recently, from the China Machine Tool Industry Association Marketing Department was informed that the first three quarters of industrial output value of China’s machine tool industry grew steadily in the third quarter rose to double-digit monthly growth rate. At the same time, the whole industry began to decline in the profit narrowed, and enterprise deficits have narrowed, but the sharp downturn in import and export situation has not improved, the decline in exports is particularly serious.

Association marketing officer said that the country benefited from a package of economic stimulus plan, beginning in March machine tool industry indicators stabilized, business confidence in the market increased. 9 months of the previous statistics, machine tool industry sales rate of 97.2% year on year increase of 0.6 percentage points.

The source believes that the current aggregate demand has not yet fully recovered, but a number of key sectors of the continuing strong demand for machine tools. Machine tool is expected in 2009 industry-wide growth rate would reach about 10%, metal cutting machine tool industry flat or up slightly. Metalworking machine tool imports the whole year will reach 6.1 billion U.S. dollars, exports will drop to 14 billion U.S. dollars.

    Industry growth rate stabilized up

It is understood that the first two quarters of industrial output value of machine tool industry has been the monthly growth rate of around 5%, while the 7,8,9 a higher growth rate for three months to drive a ~ in September to reach 9.1% cumulative growth, development trends good.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics data show that 1 ~ September machine tool industries and enterprises in total industrial output value of 272.62 billion yuan to complete, an increase of 9.1%; September monthly industrial output value grew 18.2%. One privately-held companies and other types of businesses to achieve a higher growth rate, respectively 19.0% and 17.7%; collectively owned enterprises from a negative growth, achieving a slight increase of 1.1%; state-owned enterprises has been slowing down is higher than in the first half , in order to -6.7%; Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and foreign-controlled enterprises in the first half compared to the better, but still double-digit decline in velocity, respectively -13.7% and -16.9%.

Sub-sectors of view, machine tool industry, the total industry output accounted for a quarter of the metal cutting machine tool industry-starting in April this year for 5 consecutive months of negative growth in total industrial output value up, basically maintained at 2% drop . Since September, the industry growth rate of monthly industrial output value reached 12.0%, growth of 8.5% growth rate is relatively large, pull a ~ September growth rate of total industrial output value and the year-ago quarter.

According to China’s Machine Tool Industry Association’s 125 key enterprises contact metal cutting machine tools of statistical data, except in March and September, the monthly growth in industrial output was negative. Since March, metal cutting machine tool industry, mainly in the monthly industrial output value of 4.5 billion to 50 Bn fluctuations in August to exceed 50 billion, have significantly increased in the first few months of this year, but still stable, somewhat in September down, given the low base last year, year on year in September a more visible growth.

Although the metal cutting industry, a ~ August sales revenue growth of more than 1 to May increased by 0.9 percentage points, an increase of 6.7%. But the decline in product sales revenue has more than 1 to May increased by 1.4 percentage points. Clearly, the machine tool industry in general to the good development, but the metal cutting machine tool industry is not stable.

    Some adjustment of product structure

The financial crisis on demand for all types of machines vary in effect, ordinary, low-grade CNC machine tool demand has shrunk dramatically, large heavy and steady demand for high-end CNC machine tools.

According to association statistics, in 2009 1 ~ 9 months, NC metal processing machine tool output rate was 53.6%, up 6.0 percentage points. Production of metal cutting machine tools and CNC machine tool production in the same period were lower than the 30.6% and 13.8%, the average unit price has improved over last year, respectively 34% and 21%. From the second half of last year, in September this year, machine average unit price growth accelerating, especially in the first half of this year, a year ago increased by an average of more than 10 percentage points.

In addition, the third quarter of this year, imports of machine tool parts and components reached the peak of the last four quarters. From this we can see that the need of domestic machine tools equipped with imported components is increasing.

Import machine structure is also to keep the high-end and large-scale changes in unit price from the import of machine tools can be seen that trend. 1 to September of this year, average unit price of imported machine tools 8.9 million, increase of 11% over the same period last year.

China’s monthly imports of machine tool products in June this year, reaching a maximum value of 990 million U.S. dollars, after July, in August a two-month decline in September climbing again, reaching 940 million U.S. dollars, down 16.4%, growth of 31.5 %, the second this year more than 900 million U.S. dollars of imports of the month.

The depth of decline in exports

By the financial crisis, the international machine tool market continues to slump. In the first 9 months, the world’s major machine tool producing countries and regions are sharp decline in the consumer market.

According to association statistics, 1 in September China’s machine tool exports of 3.39 billion U.S. dollars, up 37.9% decrease; of these metal processing machine tool export 1.03 billion, down 36.3%. Contrast to industry-wide exports, monthly chain showing a slight upward trend, which, in September this year, exports reached the highest monthly value of 460 million U.S. dollars.

Statistics also show that the current unit price continued to decline in China’s export machine, with an average unit price fell by 25%. In particular the combination of machine tools, CNC horizontal lathe, CNC gear cutting machine tools, bench drill, polishing machine, planer, broaching, sawing, forming bending machines, punching machines, mechanical presses and other types of machine tools drop is relatively large. Association, concerned that most of these products are low value-added, has the traditional advantage of export products, the unit price decline is likely to increase the state tax credits and the recent so the reasons for enterprises to reduce costs, it may be enterprises to seize the international market active behavior of a share of price cuts.

Machine tool stand in the crisis

2010 “World machine tool production and consumption survey” shows that the overall global metal processing manufacturing industry out of recession. Over the past two years, the growth of production fluctuations. In 2009, the world’s 28 major countries and regions in the output value production was down 32%. In 2010, the major producing countries and regions, economic recovery, the global machine tool manufacturing industry output value reached 66.3 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 21%. The “World machine tool production and consumption survey” includes a manufacturing industry and has statistics of 28 countries and regions, the production is cover 95% of world output and consumption.

According to the European Machine Tool Industry Council (CECIMO) statistics, in 2010, CECIMO production in the Member States Total 166 million euros, compared with the same period in 2009 declined slightly by 1%. In this regard, CECIMO Economic Committee Chairman Frank Brinken that with the release of production orders, industrial output in 2011 is expected to double-digit growth, the European market will enter a stable and sustainable growth phase, 2013 will likely reach a new peak.

CECIMO Member States in 2010 exports of tools 12.3 billion euros, accounting for total output value of 3 / 4. As for consumption, compared with 2009 and 2008, apparent consumption in Europe has been declining for two consecutive years. In addition, in 2010, the European machine tool production about the world’s total output of 1/3, while in 2009 their share was 43%, showing that the European machine tool market has shown a significant decline, the European machine tool industry is facing tremendous challenges. In this regard, CECIMO urged the EU to further open markets in Asia, anti-competitive conduct will not help restore the European market share.

By the international financial crisis in 2009, China, Brazil, Russia, India’s exports of metalworking machine has fallen sharply. Into 2010, due to the Asian region and emerging economies over Europe and the United States took the lead out of the woods, market structure of China’s machine exports also will change significantly. Plastic mold and metal according to the International Association of Permanent Secretary for Industry Supply Luo Baihui that the Chinese machine exports to the BRIC countries, the sharp rebound in Brazil, Russia, India’s exports are the top 10. First half of 2010, China’s exports of metalworking machine in India surpassed the United States, 1.4 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 7.4% of total exports of machine; on Brazil, Russia, exports increased more than 80% were, respectively, on top In the sixth and fourteenth up to the third and eighth. ASEAN regional markets continue to be optimistic, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia to China Dengjun the top 15 export markets, exports surpassed 2008 levels. Especially in CNC machine tool exports to Myanmar in recent years the rapid growth of exports in 2009 increased up to 6 times more than in 2010, has doubled.

China for many years been the world’s largest machine tool consumer and importer. Plastic mold and metal according to the International Association of Permanent Secretary for Industry Supply Luo Baihui, the global consumption of 10 machines each, nearly 5 in China. With the vigorous development of China’s manufacturing industry, the demand for production equipment soared. In 2002, China became the world’s largest consumer and maintain so far. Large amount of China’s machine imports, from 2002 to 2005 China imported machine consumption in the average of 62%. 2006-2010, part of China’s domestic enterprises and foreign enterprises to gradually expand the market share in China. In 2009, China became the world’s largest producer of machine tools. China’s machine tool industry in 2010 to maintain the rapid growth in the share of world output and 35%; China’s consumption up 43% year, accounting for 28 major producing countries and regions, 48% of the total consumption. In 2010, China’s exports grew 31%, with exports amounting to 1.85 billion, ranking sixth. However, the Chinese exports accounted for only 9% of its GDP, which indicates that China’s domestic market demand is quite strong.

According to China Association of Machine Tool Industry Statistics, 2010, China, Japan, Germany among the world’s top three machine production. Japan’s machine industry has experienced a serious recession in 2009, fully rebound, the second largest producer of machine to return to the position. German manufacturing output continued to decline in 2010, but still ranked third. U.S. machine manufacturing output has continued to decline, has dropped the world’s eighth, is located in Italy, South Korea, Switzerland and other countries later.10 years ago, the United States is the world’s largest machine tool consumer, consumption is much higher than the second place was Germany, but the U.S. machine consumption has been declining since 2010, spending 2.75 billion, down 15%. In the exports, Japan, Germany, Italy ranked 3 2010, its exports account for production are in the 66% ratio. In 2010, the global consumption in the top five were China, Germany, Japan, Korea and Italy. Among them, Korea and Japan have achieved double-digit growth year on year. Differences in per capita consumption large, Switzerland remains the world per capita consumption of metalworking than any other country. In the mean time, product of china are low add value products, such as roll forming machines, or some area refer to roll forming areas, because of the ratio of quality of price, it indeed work well. But it is still a long way to through, not just for roll former but the whole machine tool industry.

Step By Step Instruction in How To Bricking, Bricklayers Tool Kit,

Bricklayers Tool Kit

The bricklayer’s tool kit must be used with great care and properly maintained, firstly, because of the safety aspect arid secondly, because the tools can be of great expense.
When purchasing tools, consideration must be taken on how often the tools will be used. With every day use, the tools have to be made to be able to withstand the work. Often this is not the case with less expensive tools.
Below is a list of the tools, how they should be used and properly maintained:

Brick Trowel
These came various sizes and shape ranging between ten and fourteen inches. One side of the trowel has a more rounded edge, this being for rough cutting, however, this use is not advised for the beginner. The measurements are the actual blade size, the width of trowel also varies and beginners will find a narrower trowel easier to use. The rounded side on the trowel makes it suitable for both left and right handed operators. When the trowel is not in use for a period of time, clean it off dry and apply a light coat of oil to avoid rusting.

Pointing Trowel
A smaller version of the brick trowel but with both edges being straight, these are used for certain types of pointing or to add a finish to the brick work and should be maintained as the Brick trowel.

Spirit Level
This will be the most expensive part of the tool kit, thus keeping the bricklayers work level (horizontal) and plumb (vertical). These also come in various sizes. The main size for everyday work is nine hundred millimetres or twelve hundred millimetres.

Boat Level
Like the Spirit Level above, it has two bubbles, (one for levelling, the other for plumbing) but is smaller. It is very
handy for decorative panels and soldier courses.

Line and Pins
These are used when corners of the building have to be built to run in the bricks between. The pins are tapered at the ends to allow for inserting into joints. It is important that the line is kept free of knots and clean of mortar.

Corner Blocks
These are used in pairs as an easy method of holding the line up. These are inexpensive as you can make your own.

Tingle Plate
Another less expansive tool but of great use. II is used for holding the line up over long lengths of walling to remove any sagging.

Club (or lump) Hammer
Used with either a bolster or chisel. It is essential that the head is secure and checked regularly to ensure it never comes loose.
Always wear eye protection goggles.

Bolster
Used for cutting bricks. Eye protection must be used at all times it is used. The end should never be allowed to burr over. This is known as a mushroom and can splinter when being hit. The end should be kept free from mushrooms by a grinding wheel which also allows the culling edge to be kept sharp.

Cold Chisel
Similar to a bolster but with a smaller blade, used more for cutting into brickwork after it has been laid (cheap furniture)e.g. for letting in services. Again maintenance and safely procedures should be followed the same as for the bolster.

Hawk
A small hawk is used when pointing a lot, and makes it easier to hold the mortar.(furniture stores)

Gauge Rod
Inexpensive as you make it yourself. A length of timber with the vertical spacing of the bricks marked along one edge. Used when working from both ends of a wall to ensure that the courses are equal.

Brick Bat Gauge
Another inexpensive tool which is able to be made. Easy to use when a lot of cutting is required and maintains a regular size to the cuts. The one illustrated is made for the three most basic cuts used. Half bat, three quarter bat and closer.

Brick Hammer and Comb Hammer
Two similar types of hammer, one with a fixed head, the other with detachable blades. (coffee tables) When the teeth have worn down, the blades can be renewed. They can be used for a number of jobs:

i. tidying the edges of cuts to leave a clean edge
ii. for what is known as chasing, i.e. letting cables into walls before plastering

Again, safety is of the utmost importance. Goggles must be worn at all limes and hands and fingers must be kept clear.

Steel Tape
The types most commonly used by bricklayers these days. Very convenient size and is easily transported via the belt or pocket. When used in wet conditions it must be wiped after use to prevent rusting.

Jointing Tools
Used for putting a finish to the joints in brick work. A half-round joint which is also known as a bucket handle finish. Two types are shown, these can now be bought from shops but an old pail or bucket handle can be bent to a suitable shape.

Soldering gun – Mud Clarifier – Hydraulic Drilling Rig TR300

Applications
Soldering guns are used where more heat is needed than from pencil-style soldering irons. They can be used for heavy electrical connections, stained glass assembly, and light sheet-metal work. Typical soldering guns are rated between 100 and 240 watts power. A gun may include a two-stage trigger to give two heat settings. Consumer soldering guns are often packaged with accessory tips intended for cutting and shaping plastic.
Soldering guns may be used to solder the small SMD components, after replacing the default thick wire with a thin one. If the wire loop is bent into a rectangular shape, the gun can be used to solder 14- and 16-pin 1.27 mm pitch SMD packages in about 8 seconds by heating all pins at once.
The tip shape, in the form of a wire loop, is advantageous for getting into confined space; the tip can be rotated to get into a gap between neighbouring components. This is not practical with the cone shape of a usual soldering iron. Temperature in the soldering gun is regulated manually by holding the button until the solder melts, and then releasing it. When the solder is about to start solidifying, the button is pressed again, and so on. An experienced worker develops the skill to regulate the temperature according to need.
A disadvantage of a soldering gun is that the copper wire loop slowly dissolves in the solder and has to be regularly replaced. The soldering gun generates an electromagnetic spike when the button is released, which can be a problem for electromagnetically-sensitive devices. The spike can be seen when a high-efficiency LED is soldered, as the LED flashes. Soldering guns produce too much heat for joints on printed circuit boards. The heavy magnetic field produced by the tip can attract and hold small ferrous metal pieces (screws, etc.). History
A 1948 advertisement for a Weller soldering gun
Pistol-grip electrically-heated soldering tools had been used since the 1920s. In 1941 Carl E. Weller invented and later obtained US Patent 2405866 for a transformer-type soldering tool, which heated up rapidly. Unlike other electrically-heated tools of the time, his soldering gun used a copper heating element, directly heated by a current of hundreds of amperes produced from a small transformer in the body of the gun. The relatively small mass of the copper element heated rapidly and cooled off quickly when the trigger was released. Weller formed a company to manufacture and sell his invention commercially in 1946. The Weller company was bought in 1970 and merged into the Cooper Industries group. See also

Panel Cutting Machines

Panel Cutting Machines is a tool that is used to remove material from the workpiece by means of shear deformation. Cutting may be accomplished by single-point or multipoint tools. Single-point tools are used in turning, shaping, planning and similar operations, and remove material by means of one cutting edge. Milling and drilling tools are often multipoint tools. Grinding tools are also multipoint tools. Each grain of abrasive functions as a microscopic single-point cutting edge (although of high negative rake angle), and shears a tiny chip.

Cutting tools must be made of a material harder than the material which is to be cut, and the tool must be able to withstand the heat generated in the metal-cutting process. Also, the tool must have a specific geometry, with clearance angles designed so that the cutting edge can contact the workpiece without the rest of the tool dragging on the workpiece surface. The angle of the cutting face is also important, as is the flute width, number of flutes or teeth, and margin size. In order to have a long working life, all of the above must be optimized, plus the speeds and feeds at which the tool is run.

è Different types of the Cutting tools

Single-point cutting tools can be classified by their motion as linear or rotary, depending on whether they rotate while cutting. Linear cutting tools include tool bits (single-point cutting tools) and broaches. Rotary cutting tools include drill bits, countersinks and counterbores, taps and dies, milling cutters, and reamers. Other cutting tools, such as bandsaw blades and fly cutters, combine aspects of linear and rotary motion.

è Replaceable Cutting tools

Cutting tools are often designed with inserts or replaceable tips (tipped tools). In these, the cutting edge consists of a separate piece of material, either brazed, welded or clamped on to the tool body. Common materials for tips include tungsten carbide, polycrystalline diamond, and cubic boron nitride. Tools using inserts include milling cutters (endmills, fly cutters), tool bits, and saw blades.

è Materials used in the Cutting tools

Cutting tools are made using a variety of materials and the selection of a cutting tool material depends on a variety of factors.

To produce quality parts, a cutting tool must have three characteristics:

* Hardness — hardness and strength at high temperatures.

* Toughness — toughness, so that tools don’t chip or fracture.

* Wear resistance — having acceptable tool life before needing to be replaced.

Cutting tool materials can be divided into two main categories: stable and unstable.

Unstable materials (usually steels) are substances that start at a relatively low hardness point and are then heat treated to promote the growth of hard particles (usually carbides) inside the original matrix, which increases the overall hardness of the material at the expense of some its original toughness. Since heat is the mechanism to alter the structure of the substance and at the same time the cutting action produces a lot of heat, such substances is inherently unstable under machining conditions.

Stable materials (usually tungsten carbide) are substances that remain relatively stable under the heat produced by most machining conditions, as they don’t attain their hardness through heat. They wear down due to abrasion, but generally don’t change their properties much during use.

Most stable materials are hard enough to break before flexing, which makes them very fragile. To avoid chipping at the cutting edge, most tools made of such materials are finished with a slightly blunt edge, which results in higher cutting forces due to an increased shear area. Fragility combined with high cutting forces results in most stable materials being unsuitable for use in anything but large, heavy and stiff machinery.
