airco dip-pak MIG welder euro-connector INNER STEEL TUBE

airco dip-pak 200 mig euro-connector problem: the feed wire runs through this tube just after it exits the wire feed rolls (‘inside’ the heavy brass euro-connector tube) of my MIG welder. this tube is supposed to be made of STEEL, not plastic, per my friend jim in mass, a fellow dip-pak owner. steel tubing with these ID and OD dimensions has been impossible to find. airco, of course, is out of business. mcmaster doesn’t carry it. brake line tubing is WAY too big on the ID. hypodermic needle tubing suppliers don’t have it. because the wires I want to use have OD’s of .030 and .045, and .0625, the tubing I need should have an ID of .031, .046, or .064, and an OD of *roughly* .165 inch “or thereabouts”. may have to make it by soldering together multiple ‘telescoped’ hypodermic needle tubes, one inside the other…*UNLESS* you have a better idea… this stuff would ‘roughly equte’ to VERY small steel tubing with an EXTRA-heavy wall…it’d be -hard- to make this, even IF I can find tubing that has the correct inner bore, and needs it’s OD turned down… alternately, maybe I can use some sort of hard plastic tubing, but, still, I’ve been unable to find that, either, with the dimensions I need…
