so where would one buy a unit like this & how much is it?

  • robrobinette:

I have a Longevity LS-200 PI like in the video and it’s a fantastic welder/cutter. I mainly use it on my race car so I need to weld aluminum and magnesium so the AC/DC pulse 200PI is perfect for me. I’m having a blast TIG welding everything in sight!

I also like my 520. But it would be nice to be able to weld aluminum and have the pilot arc for the plasma.

Awesome looking machine, I love my 520D but I will definitely upgrade to one of these in the future.

  • Arthurful1:

If this unit is as good as the LS200 which I own, you will be really pleased.

  • Kingsmeg:

It really is that easy. I’ve owned a lot of welders and gear in the last 20 years, I currently have a Longevity 518D multi-mode (TIG, stick, plasma), 2 Lincolns and a Hobart, I can’t tell them apart when I’m welding. The only reason to go with one company over another is service, warranty, and price (for comparable lines). The components come from the same factory, and I’ve had more ‘out of the box’ issues with brand name welders.
