Can You Put A Different Company’s Wire Into A Wire Feed Welder?

I have a lincoln welder (flux core 100 weld pack hd) and i bought hobart wire for it, .035, just like my welder takes, is that going to be a problem at all?

You should’t have a problem providing you use the correct diameter roller AND you are using the same sort of wire! (steel, stainless or aluminium). If you put mild steel wire in a gun that has only run aluminium it tends to stick.

Yes, I do it all the time. Just make sure it’s the right diameter for your feed and tip –though it sounds like you already know that. Good luck!
