Are Some Types Of Welding More Physicaly Demanding Than Others?

I mean except for being underwater ,are the other kinds of welding different in the amounts of physical exertion . Also do you think someone who is not very strong- physical person can do some of this work ?

I am of the belief that if you truly want to do something and put everything you have into it you will make it happen. I have worked around welders and depending on whether you’re welding on something ground level or at heights it can be physically taxing. However when you know your job and your physical limitations you can make accommodations for yourself. Be it a suspension system or getting a helping hand for a difficult weld. I am a woman and have worked in extremely physical demanding jobs. Take it from me if you want it you will make it happen! Good luck!

welding is a physically demanding job, regardless of the type, most of the time you are sitting or standing for long periods of time, but it is also a great trade to have, if your asking about strength, it depends on the job, if you are production welding then you do not need to be very strong, but if you are a welder-fitter you would need alot of strength, because you would be handling material by hand and it can get pretty heavy, basically its up to you to know what type of welding you want to get into, and if you feel that it would be right for you in a physical sense. hope that helps with your question, good luck.
